Brief introduction:- Mr. Pradeep Chaudhary has started his career as a faculty with a small computer-training center, while he was learning computers, then got a job to work as a programmer. Started a small web consulting company with a partner and since then into business.

MindCron:- What inspired you to start servicesutra.com? What are the services where ServiceSutra can help a consumer as of now?
Mr. Pradeep:- Today when you want to buy a phone you can simply google it and find several websites where you compare prices, but if you want to hire an Interior designers, your choices are limited.
There are hundreds of yellow pages and business directories, but all they provide you is contact numbers, address and name of the business. As a consumer you are left with no choice than keep calling those Service providers and discovers some of the numbers are incorrect, or the vendor is busy and will call you back. Here comes ServiceSutra where we pre-screen each and every vendors before listing them to our network and all you have to do is, post your requirements.

Mr. Pradeep:- Both consumers and service providers use ServiceSutra. For consumers it saves lots of hassles and also let them get best rates. For Service providers, it help them get more and more referral and grow their business.
MindCron:-What’s your Business & revenue model?
Mr. Pradeep:- We are yet to make money out of it, but moving forward we may be charging SPs for each referral that we send their way.
MindCron:-Who all are your nearest competitor and how can you differentiate from them?
Mr. Pradeep:- Our Model is a little different. You may JustDial also help consumers find Business, but I would say we are different from them. They help you with anything and everything. We are limited to service Industry. Also we work closely and present you information that can help you make a decision. Third is, any Service providers, who does not maintain a certain overall rating, will be out of our network. So we will be endorsing, best quality SP only, which I think no one does.
MindCron:- As a startup, what all have been the obstacles that you faced so far and how did you overcome it?
Mr. Pradeep:- The moment you decide to startup, obstacles and issues will find you automatically. No matter how well prepared you are, expect things to change rapidly. For me the biggest challenge has been recruitment of right people. Among all-important things, you need a good team (small/big) behind. I keep motivating my team, work closely with them, and help them when needed.
MindCron:-Any suggestions for young entrepreneurs?
Mr. Pradeep:- Think ten times before jumping. But once you are sure of yourself, go ahead and give it a try.
